Crazy Talk can bring any digital image (.jpg or
.bmp) to life. Preparing an image for speech is a simple process of anchoring
movement points to the key features of the face. A typical fitting takes
less than ten minutes. Reallusion also offers collections of pre-fitted images
called Image Packs. Images can be given a voice using a microphone and the
included voice recorder or from any captured .wav file. Images can also read
back any typed text using the included text-to-speech engine. CrazyTalk
synchronizes the mouth of the image to the audio to create a speaking image.
Images can be made more life like through the use of included emotions. Twenty
different emotions are simulated. Each emotion can also range in intensity
for an almost unlimited range of options. Once completed, the finish talking
image can be saved as a stand alone .exe file, as an .html file for use on
the Web or in emails or converted to a video format for use in other applications
such as PowerPoint.
